Hawkins Accounting is striving to still provide you with the service you have come to expect from us and comply with the Governor’s executive order.

We our closing to the public as of March 24th . The IRS has extended the tax deadline until July 15; however, the state of Michigan has not extended their deadline. We are still available to prepare your income tax return.

You can get your information to us by using the various methods:
  • Mailing your information
  • Using our secure portal to send and receive information
  • Faxing us information to (517) 782-0360
  • Using our drop box on our side door

One of our preparers will prepare your return and go over it with you by phone.
We are still available to answer questions by phone Monday thru Friday 10:00am until 6:00pm.

Hawkins Accounting

We offer a wide range of tax services; business (large and small), individual, trust and estates. Clergy and missionary tax needs have become our largest specialty.
All of our tax preparers attend continuing education classes throughout the year and are fully trained in the current tax law and are able to assist with you with tax planning at age related milestones.
We prepare income taxes for clients all over the world. There are a variety of ways to send us your documents, so we can prepare your taxes. You can use our secure login to upload your information and ask us questions. If you have not used our login before, please call the office for your username and a temporary password.
You can mail your documents to us Priority Mail is preferred method, so you have tracking information because you are sending personal information. We will notify you as soon as we receive your information and you are assigned a tax professional who will keep you informed throughout the process.

What to do if you receive a letter from the IRS or State
